ABOUT STAR!

Hello, everyone! I am Star, not my real name, a freelance creative writer and novel editor under different platforms, and I live in Dasmarinas City, Cavite, Philippines! I graduated with a degree of BS in Management Accounting at De La Salle University - Dasmarinas, but I decided not to pursue that path more, and I changed career as a writer.

I mainly write urban/realistic stories and romance stories, but I like trying new genres as well. I also like challenging myself by writing more stories that makes me alive and dead at the same time (I just can't with deadlines sometimes, haha! But it's worth it!)

Before I became a writer, I was once a reader and a movie critic. No, really. I do love judging and giving feedbacks about the stories I read, and movies I watched. Even when I was a child, I always complain "Why is the ending like that?" "They should have done this and that," and I guess, that's when my calling as a writer started.

My love for writing intensified for as much as I love reading. In college, I started reading self-help books. My most favorite book is Atomic Habits and The Compound Effect. I started writing with two goals in mind: To earn money, and to give readers a lesson and experience without needing to actually experience it.

In this blogsite, I'll share my stories (free and the sneak peaks of my exclusive stories in various platforms, my blogs about random things, writing tips, and life journey as well, my published books, and more! I'll also share some articles here as I wanted to gain experience about content writing, haha!
